Summary
It’s not even the matter of clashing sleep schedules, Phil’s never had an issue with that. Vampires can be quiet when need be. But nothing in the world can change the fact they’re dead in the heart, and cold to the touch, and absolutely fucking insufferable in sticking their freezing hands up his sleeves, as if he’s their personal hand-warmer.
One of these days, he’s just going to put a cross on the door and let them stay cold out on the hallway floor.

Phil had never wanted a familiar. It wasn’t that he disliked them, he just never found the need to have one. He was a capable witch on his own, having a familiar wouldn’t make much of a difference. At least that’s what he thought before his boss hands him Techno, telling him he’ll be teaching Magical Creatures 101 for a semester.
Techno somehow has Phil changing his mind and in return, the other finds a home.
