Summary
The soul is an unknown entity to the masses; just like the brain is an unknown labyrinth of human knowledge. Emotions, thus, are molecules of its thoughts, traveling through the body in waves that one cannot explain. A deity like me should never get attached to such human things, just as they should never go through experiencing such human emotions.
But I held you in my hands, a fragile little thing that you were, your hands reaching forward, grabbing my robe, and I couldn't wash off this feeling.
I found you on the ground, covered in dirt, crying, wiggling around, doing everything to grab my attention. And you did, you grabbed mine, and you calmed down, breathing heavily in my arms as I watched you fall asleep. Something within me sparkled like the flame of a candle, not much but slow and steady, as if it was meant to be there.
You were so tiny, so fragile, a little thing.
And I couldn't let you go. Everything inside me screamed at me not to do it.
And that was the best decision I have ever made.---

Sixer put on a burst of speed, instinctually using the hacks that had caused all of this. He didn't have time to think about it though, as a disfigured yellow arm reached out and grabbed his ankle. They stumbled for just a moment, panicking. If they tripped and fell now, the presumed escape would close and they would be trapped in here for the rest of their life.
Luckily, Sixer managed to right himself and keep on running. They were so close, the crack closing rapidly as they reached for it. The light emitted from it was nearly blinding, but she finally managed to reach it. Finally, they felt the promise of Freedom.Bookmarked by Anesthesi4
