The dim light from the approaching sunrise veiled the town-square with an orange-tinted glow, making the already picturesque scene look slightly haunted, and the light mist that hovered over the ground was not helping in that case. Only a few other cookies were up this early in the morning, but they only gave him a glance, too busy with the openings of their own personal shop to greet him, or pay him any mind.
