Leaving home on a quest to prove her value, Tali'Zorah didn't imagine things would go south so quickly. Lucky for her, she not only got out of it alive, but also employed as engineer on the most advanced vessel in Citadel Space, going after armies of Geth. That was just the perfect chance she needed to find something that her people could use against their long time enemy. It was also the perfect chance for her to find something else with the help of a certain human Commander.

Summary
The legendary hero, Commander Shepard is revived.
But it’s not without its cons. Cerberus, an enemy of not just him, but to everyone, were his saviors. Struggling to reform into his social life as a hero, a legend, he contemplates whether it’s worth it.
Thankfully, a certain quarian plans to fix that. It is what engineers do after all.
Takes place during ME2. Already established relationship between Shepard and Tali from other story, but it’s not required to read to understand what’s going on here. Will have changed to Cannon!
