“Have you heard? The Prime invited high protector Megatron for a dinning outside of the garden together!..” One bots exclaimed, they were excited.
“What a load of slag..” Skywarp murmured, hearing this as well. “This lord high protector and this prime didn’t do scrap.. I wonder why our alley streets were filthy with curse mechs that throw rocks at us just because we are different from them..” He huffed, rolling his optics.
“Really, if that prime was as good as they say. Then how about he make a law that we all should treat each other equally even if we are different?..” Skywarp whispers to his brother.
Starscream listened to him, he could understand where that came from. Then, he had a sudden idea. He was desperate for food, and every time he tried to bring something new or food, it always reached out of his servos.

Summary
Instead of Starscream being the well-known and feared Second-In-Command of the Decepticons, he’s practically an urban legend among Autobots and Decepticons alike, only known through vague prisoner-of-war stories and scattered attributions of battle plans and weapon designs. Most mecha are of the opinion that this “Starscream” is a mere myth to make Megatron look more menacing, and others (notably the Autobot spec-ops) often make jokes about ‘Spooky Screamer’ whenever a particularly strange case pops up.
This changes when Jazz and his team uncover an abandoned Decepticon laboratory on Earth, only to find a dying seekerlet locked in its depths.
And thus, Starscream is no longer a myth.

Summary
Sometimes, characters being born later can lead to much larger changes in the universe around them. Now four sparklings who know nothing but slavery and misery are ready to put their escape plan into motion. It's a shot in the dark, and it's their only hope. Luckily for them, the Autobots are more than willing to help.
The sparklings' names? Megatron, Soundwave, Shockwave and Starscream.Or: you know those series in which little children have a terrible abusive childhood, and then get rescued and proceed to be cute, enjoy life, build a family and kick their former abusers' asses? It's that plot but the children are the Decepticon high command. No, seriously.
