The Dock Workers' Union is still holding out their strike.
Meanwhile, teenagers are disappearing off the streets of Jamrock, Faubourg and Couron, only to later turn up dead in the River Esperance.
At Precinct 41, Lieutenant Double-Yefreitor Harry Du Bois goes to work. He is sober and gets to work with his best friend, Kim Kitsuragi. His memory is also slowly returning.These things are all connected.

The shift from reality to pale is different depending on when and where in Elysium you look. In some places it's a wave that carries reality into the sky, a cataclysm, a horror.
