The blocks of story in one chapter was a trust in process but the story was so worth it, I live for sassy and ambitious Draco. It’s really a fic of ‘for Draco lovers first, Drarry second’ cuz I love the focus of the building of Malfoy’s journey. Love the ending, love the characters! Especially WHISELY (baby come home!!) I didn’t expect to cry when he resigned, especially when he revealed he was also a slytherin seeker like Draco UGH

Summary
Be kind to yourself, Cassie says in his head, soft and gentle. But Frank can’t. There is no world in which he can be kind to a version of himself that hurts Robby, especially sober. He’s supposed to be better now; he’s spent ten months clawing his way back inch by inch to being a person instead of a loose collection of hurts and cravings and spikes that pierced anyone nearby. But it seems that the version of himself that can connect with Robby, see eye-to-eye with him, talk to him without feeling like a gut punch, died the day of Pittfest last year.

Summary
Draco Malfoy comes to school wearing Slytherin green ear cuffs. They’re in the shape of snakes, twisting back and forth around the edge of his ears, a brilliant shade of green with jade diamonds encrusted into their eyes. They’re works of art, and look way more expensive than anything Harry has ever held in his hands before, including the Dursley’s fine china that Petunia insisted was worth more than the house. Harry can’t stop looking at the way the snakes curl at their tails, flicking in towards Malfoy’s inner ear in a way that almost looks uncomfortable. Malfoy laughs and throws his head back just a little, the candlelight bouncing off the diamond eyes and practically sparkling.
Something is wrong with Malfoy.
Something, of course, other than the fact that Malfoy is a complete arse.
