Summary
Beneath his borrowed coat, Xie Lian fiddled with his ring. Many long years had passed since he last curled up in someone’s arms. The only time he’d ever done so was with his parents, when he was young and scared or in miserable shape, much like he was right now. Admittedly, he felt a bit uneasy about the idea of doing it again. At the same time, he wasn’t so sure that he could fathom the idea of turning Hua Cheng down, either.
He was tired, and tired of shivering. Hua Cheng was right there, and willing. He had no reason refuse.
Struggling to sleep after catching a sudden fever, Xie Lian finds warmth in the most unlikely of places.

A ghost needs an anchor to stay in this world. Huā Chéng will never leave as long as his gege is there, but that does not make the process of finding all the pieces of his scattered soul any easier. At the same time, there is no doubt that this struggle is worth it.
