“Long enough to get high on a Wednesday?” Kon asked, eyes glancing over at the vape pen resting on the bedside table. He couldn’t stop himself from laughing. “Couldn’t even wait until Friday?”
“No time on Fridays,” Tim shook his head slowly and then reached out to fumble with the pen on the table next to him, “That’s when all the criminals are out… s’ like they got day jobs or something.”

Summary
Kon had changed his perception on what could be classified as sex. It changed more and more as he reflected on himself, the way he wanted to have sex, the way he has had sex, and all the overlap that came with it. So, by his own definition, he and Tim have had sex. Several times in fact. Hell, sometimes when they kissed it felt like sex. Dirty and perfect. Sensual and loving. Open and giving.
But that doesn’t change the fact that within what he considers sex, Kon still wanted to do more.
He wanted to fuck.
The problem was that the universe was adamant that never happened.
Kon and Tim’s almost, almost, and finally, and all the trust, love, and too delicate feelings that come with it.

Part of Bernard wanted to say he should have known when both of his boyfriends had ‘emergencies’ come up early this morning, but he knew better. When both of your partners are superheros who think you don’t know that, families are constantly in danger, ill or moving, work always runs late and old friends are constantly in town. It was bad when they were just dating, in the past 3 months that they’ve been living together, it has become downright comical. There was no way for him to know this particular crisis would involve his own secrets as well.

“I said, go away,” Tim repeated, his voice strained and quiet under the steam and noise.
Kon sighed, placing the shampoo on the counter with a soft thud. “At least turn the water down, it’s going to scald you,” he called out.
Tim ripped the shower curtain back to glare at him. He was sitting curled up on the tiled floor of the tub, fully dressed in a thick, too-large t-shirt that Kon was almost certain was his. Based on the murderous look Tim was giving him, he was not about to ask. “Leave, Kon,” he repeated, his voice cutting through the noise.
“Baby—” Kon tried, stepping closer when he saw the glint of tears rolling down Tim’s face.
“Kon-El.”
That was the nuclear option. Kon-El was reserved for life-or-death situations, a reprimand, or the most serious possible boundary. Kon didn't hesitate. He slowly backed out of the bathroom, pulling the door shut until the click of the latch was deafeningly loud.
Yeah. Kon had no idea what to do.
