Summary
There's an early frost coming, and Fawn needs to get all her fields harvested before nightfall. Her farmhand, Newt, is unable to help this year because he has an infant daughter to look after. That doesn't bother Fawn, she's been running the farm alone ever since her parents died. What does bother her, however, is the fact she's been in labor for over a day. Now, Fawn finds herself hurrying to finish her harvest for two reasons: the incoming frost, and her incoming baby.
