Set in Riverdale during the summer before Betty's senior year of college. Betty and Jughead are together and solid, but meeting a BAMF like Buffy Summers opens them up to some new...opportunities.
This is a slow, slow burn. It'll take a minute to get sexy, but it'll get there.
Warning: Spoilers for the entire Buffy TV series and some mention of plotlines from the post-TV comics (though those will be largely ignored). Spoilers for Riverdale through season 4 — this was written before Riverdale season 5 aired, so it diverges from canon at that point.

Summary
I was really surprised by the ending of Borrasca. And, tbh, I was pretty traumatized. Like, waking up in the middle of the night traumatized. I needed some closure, so I wanted to flesh out Kimber’s story instead of waiting for a season 2 to do that…if it does that. I wanted to bring her some healing — to get her to the point where she'd be able to find Sam and engage with him.
Major Trigger Warnings for rape and sexual assault. I'm not going to get graphic, but it needs to be dealt with.
Spoilers for all of season 1 of Borrasca.

I got a prompt in a comment-
"I was wondering if you could write a fanfiction about Shawn and his abusive brother, Eddie. For some reason, I always thought that Eddie did something terrible to Shawn (I think he raped him). It would be great to read about how Shawn deals with it and how those who care about him help him through it, including his other brother, Jack."
The first chapter is the only one with the actual scene of CSA. Please read with caution. It does get talked about it other chapters.
Shawn tries to bury it down for a long time until eventually he has to deal with his trauma and work towards recovery.

Senior year was supposed to be fun, hopeful even - however, old threats come knocking and new mysteries surface just as the dust felt as though it were beginning to settle. When one of the Core Four goes missing, will the others be able to save them in time, all while battling their inner demons, family issues, and the fallout of recent events?

This is my take on a post-Season 3 storyline. Nothing on-air past 3x22 is canon here. No superpowers, no magic, no whatever the hell the past few seasons have given us.
TW: Some mature content on violence, kidnapping, PTSD, murder, grief, and mental health struggles. Many of the chapters deal with such and I'm not the greatest at remembering to put TW's in front of all the chapters. It gets very angsty, very deep, and sometimes a bit philosophical at times, so keep that in mind, but I also have everyone actually working through their traumas and emotions.
So if you like that, you like some angst, and you like some action, give it a try!
