What if, when the loop of 1999 resets, instead of the Hex forgetting, the Drifter does?

“No…” they replied, their voice quiet and powerless. Their whole body seemed to droop, even if there wasn’t much to move with their curled up shell. “I remember before that. I remember…everything that led me here. I remember why I’m here, what my mission is. I even think I remember your names, but—” Their lungs seized on another sob. “But that’s it…”
A silence echoed off the walls of the mall and the Drifter could almost hear every heart around them break.
“I’m supposed to know more than that, though, aren’t I?” The Drifter’s sobs got louder, tears were streaming down their face.

Summary
After facing centuries of death, over and over and over, the drifter has become a little numb to it. Or, that's what he'd tell himself anyway. Regardless, there's a story to maintain, people to save, and trust to build.
This is just a little tale of a drifter who might need all the time he's got to become what the Hex needs.

Summary
The circus cannot survive without Caine. His existence is tied to its existence. Which means, whether they like it or not, the players will have to find a way to bring him back.
Thankfully, Kinger has a plan. He informs the players about a powerful AI Caine had consumed long ago, Model-58. If they can get Caine to agree to have this AI removed from him, they can split the AI's power amongst themselves. But problems arise as the plan is put into action.
Caine has been acting strange ever since he was brought back without his powers.
Jax has been oddly cheery and spending a lot of time alone.
Worst of all...the players have to learn to co-exist with Caine if they want the circus to stay standing. And it doesn't take long for tensions to rise when Caine is confronted for his past actions. But the players are soon confronted with their own past actions as they find out that they're not the only ones who have been traumatized in this digital hell.
Turns out this lover without a heart had his heart broken by his own creators.

His brain catapults him out of his daydream as his eyes focus on his wrist. He brings it closer to his face. Scrubs it clean with vanilla scented shampoo just in case he’s gone crazy. Summary
In which none of the Avengers really knew there was somebody living on the thirteenth floor of the Tower until Steve found her drinking tea at the dining table in the common room. It also didn't help that she is something of a clairvoyant, who nearly spat said tea all over the floor upon seeing a snatch of Steve's future... Which apparently determined he'd be slow fucking her into oblivion while his best friend made a necklace of hickeys around her throat on a California King at some point.
Tony, as her friend and sorta-boss who knew her since defeating the Mandarin, thinks it's hilarious that her possibly-inevitable future results in such an encounter. Pepper, as her friend and actual boss, offers a few sympathies before asking for her professional opinion on the stock market. And her? She just wants to go back to being generally ignored on the thirteenth floor, where she's not bombarded with visions of peoples' lives or worrying about whether anyone saw the floating kettle pour tea into her monster-sized mug.
