He hopes Shen Qingqiu is able to be aware of and comforted by, at some level, the knowledge that his body is safe and being cared for by one who cares for him very deeply."
A very Not Ok Liu Qingge finds Shen Qingqiu's plant body before Shen Qingqiu wakes up. He tends and cares for it and keeps it safe.

Bucky rescues the mug, hands him a tissue, and says, "Hot tip: if you ever want me not to get off listening to you, just make that exact noise again and I promise I will lose interest entirely."
Clint tumbles off the couch onto the floor, blowing coffee out of his nose into the tissue. "But like," he says, emerging with damp eyes and streaming nostrils. "There's interest otherwise? When I'm not pouring coffee into the wrong orifices?"
