Summary
It was everywhere. Painfully domineering. He was choking on in, drowning and his nation was watching in morbid excitement… well, those that weren’t stamping on his head to keep him down. Everything hurt. The arrogant horror of his youth, once again coming back to bite him on the arse. Still, it was too late for regrets now. It was always too late.
Arthur struggles to handle the weight of his own failures and Antonio won’t let him face it alone.

Summary
You are an Inazuman(?) mortal and stumble across a very suspicious hermit in a remote house in the mountains. He is none other than the most charismatic Abyss monster, Enjou, on a mission to research human behaviour after his escapade in Enkanomiya and see if he can successfully blend in with humans with the same effectiveness as the vishap people.
The general arc is not so much going from enemies to lovers as going from him being a mildly tsundere book nerd to complete hopeless romantic throwing himself at your feet (with a little bit of flirty sass/teasing here and there lol).
I've tried to integrate some of his canon lines too!
Apart from being from Inazuma and eye colour (plot relevant), no other descriptors are used for Reader. No use of Y/N so as not to break immersion.
This fic was inspired by the Blossom Dearie song The Lies of Handsome Men and especially the line ‘I believe Prince Charming, I’d never guess he’s double dealing.’

Summary
Illuga moved back to remove his coat before he reached for the bandages and began wrapping them around Lohen’s thigh, making sure to cover the entirety of the wound. He could feel the knight’s eyes on him, and despite the urge he had to look up, he held back.
“You’re too good.”
Illuga fastened the bandage. “What?”
“I said,” Lohen dragged it out, forcing Illuga to look up at him. “You are too good of a person.”
Illuga opened his mouth to argue, to say something that contraindicated Lohen’s statement. There was so much that could contradict Lohen’s statement, yet seeing the knight’s eyes, the words dried on his tongue. Because, how could someone hold such sincerity in their eyes?
He opened his mouth again, forcing words out. “Hardly.”
Or: 5 times Illuga takes care of Lohen's injuries and the 1 time Lohen takes care of his heart.

Summary
Death was the unreachable promise of rest, the light at the end of a dark road filled with monsters from their past —but it was also a reminder of what they lost. You see, death didn't come just for one's last breath, it also came for everything that once surrounded you. Your people, your culture, your hymns.
Your language.
You soon find out that losing your mortality was the least of tragedies. It was the losing of your identity what hurt the most.
And to speak a dead nation's language was a curse higher than most.
