Summary

Qrow stood in front of the mirror, picking at his clothes with nervous attention. He was wearing his best, which wasn’t saying much, but it was nicer than his usual garb. His suit was more or less put together – cheap but not ratty or over-used. His shoes had been shined, no loose threads that he hadn’t already picked away. The only thing missing were his cuff-links which had mysteriously vanished.

The only reason their colony had survived this long was by abiding by one key principle: the end justifies the means. As long as they procured good results it would warrant them forsaking their humanity to obtain them.
As their commander's lead operative, Clover lived by that framework. It's what kept their people safe and prosperous despite living in a ruined wasteland dominated by the Grim. Unbecomingly, it's also what had him stalking a rogue little girl home to her starving sister and sick uncle through Grim infested territory.
Lucky him.

Summary
Qrow knew he should've kept to himself. If it wasn't because he was bad luck or just a pain to most people who met him. He should've at least considered the consequences of being with Clover. He had been growing too soft and now he was paying for it. Now with pups on the way and no idea how to handle it. Qrow has some serious choices to make. Would bringing life into a world hell-bent on destroying itself really a good idea?
