Summary
Will is hired as a pool boy by Robertus Lecter for the summer after his high school graduation, before college starts. Robertus has a nephew the same age (just a few months older) as Will, named Hannibal. Hannibal has been mute for all of his teenage years, but with the help of some therapists and his Aunt’s attendant, Chiyoh, he’s learning to speak again.
Hannibal has never been so intrigued with one of his Uncle’s hires, and Will seems to be just as interested.

On one fateful occasion, sixth year, Slytherin Will Graham is paired with seventh year, Ravenclaw Hannibal Lecter. Hannibal is a very knowledgeable (obsessive) boy, and therefore is giddy to get to work beside another whom he knows gets great grades.Besides even all of that, he’s had his eye on Will since he could remember. Getting this opportunity was like a miracle. Unfortunately (or fortunately, for Hannibal), in their attempts to make a potion of Elixir, an unfinished and unknown product is shoved out of their shared cauldron; coating them both waist-down with purple goo.

OR: Hannibal and Will become work-buddies in potions, and after the mistake described above, get their magics entangled; binding them. They’re set aside their own flat to share, and have no choice but to get to know each other while waiting for a cure.
