    “Ah,” Shane said, wincing in immediate sympathy. “Bummer. Aren’t there resale ones, though?”

    Hayden dropped onto the opposite end of the sectional with a beer in hand and snorted.
    “Yeah, for like, the price of a small car. I am not paying that much for a concert.”

    “Why not?” Ilya drawled, turning his head toward Hayden. “You do not have money for resale?”

    Hayden didn’t even look at him. “I have money. I just also have sense.”

    “Ah.” Ilya nodded thoughtfully. “So Montreal paid you so little you must budget carefully. Makes sense. Fifteenth best player on team, yes?”

    “Hey,” Shane said. “Maybe don’t start a fist fight in our living room.”

    Ilya looked up at him, entirely unrepentant.

    “I am helping,” he said. “He says he cannot afford tickets. I am investigating.”

    Hayden scoffed. “You wanna help? You buy them, then.”

    “Okay.” Ilya reached for his phone. “Done."

    Ilya Rozanov is the playboy darling of the oft-forgotten ECHL who never quite lived up to his full potential, but he’s also known for spending the off-season hunting ghosts with his teammates Bood and Troy.

    When they dare to investigate the tragic ruins of NHL legend Shane Hollander's former cottage, they are expecting to be confronted by a cursed haunting, a vengeful demon, or at the very least... some entertaining Youtube-worthy content. What Ilya is not expecting, however, is to form an inexplicable bond with the ghost of a hot hockey player and discover that nothing (literally nothing at all) is quite as it seems.

    OR; Shane is a ghost, Ilya can see dead people, and it's entirely possible that they once knew each other in a past life.

    Shane clicks yes without thinking or even typing a message and shuts the laptop screen even though the stream isn’t over, so he can pace the room and think about what he just did while nervously waiting for an answer. He can’t stand the thought of seeing the screen while waiting for a rejection or acceptance.

    Ilya peers up again and raises an eyebrow. He pauses the video he was watching. “With?” 

    Shane fidgets. “I, uh… I can’t– I mean, I can but I’m not very good– Fuck, listen, just– Ineedyoutohelpmewithsex.” 

    A pause. A long pause. Ilya blinks a couple of times, mouth twitching at the corners. Then,

    “You need me to teach you how to fuck your girl, Hollander?”

    Shane needs help satisfying his girlfriend, Jessica. He turns to his roommate, Ilya, for help.
