Summary
“I’m going to fucking kill you.” Gi-hun hisses, his voice breaking on the words.
In-ho stares up at him, his breathing uneven, and for a moment, something other than pain curls in his chest. “You’re so beautiful when you’re angry,” he says softly, his voice low and almost reverent.
It starts with a cold night and stolen moments in the dark - Gi-hun, wrapped up in Young-il, clinging to his warmth and whispered half-truths. But there's another man he can't stop thinking about, the one hiding behind a mask.
When he finally puts the pieces together, it should change everything. Instead, it changes him.
(aka: In-ho warns the guards about Gi-hun’s plans, and thus brings his little rebellion to the ground before it even starts. now he has to cuddle with his crush to stay warm - how unfortunate! especially because Gi-hun won't stop talking about how much he wants to kill him)

Summary
"So, why did you really do it? I believe you when you say you've been in my situation, but why did you step in? My problems were nothing you to, are nothing to you. Why did you interject when it would be easier not to?"
In-ho let the question sink in. He didn't know why he helped. He knew he didn't want this man to die because of his debt, as so many others had. He shouldn't have interjected, but he did. This man was probably going to die soon regardless of In-ho's efforts, so why help at all?
One year after winning his games and losing everything that mattered, In-ho doesn’t know why he chose to help a stranger in debt. After that night, he doesn’t know why this new love isn’t enough to keep him from returning to the place that broke him.

Kara Sevda
[Noun.] Turkish
A blinding, desperate love for another person. A kind of love that makes you sick. Literally translates to "Dark Love"."You did it, hero. You stopped the games. You should be happy."
Gi-hun had won. In-ho has failed to break his spirit. And the more he fails, the more his obsession with the man grows, plunging him into the black ocean of despair. A love that is keeping them both prisoners.
"How long are you going to keep me here?"
"As long as it takes."
Dance me to the children who are asking to be born
Dance me through the curtains that our kisses have outworn
Raise a tent of shelter now, though every thread is torn
Dance me to the end of loveThe song they were dancing to felt like a letter to the future. In-ho knew that whatever they had couldn't last forever. Sooner or later, Gi-hun was going to disentangle himself from his web.
He just wanted to dance with him until the end.

Summary
After the death of Seong Gi-hun, Hwang In-ho sinks into grief, guilt, and crushing loneliness. One night, he falls asleep in his empty apartment—only to wake up in a completely different world, where he is still a detective but now assigned to a high-profile case involving the corrupt chairman of Eunsong Corp, Lee Dae-ho.
Things take a bizarre turn when In-ho meets Lim Hyun-joon, a charming, wildly popular actor who looks exactly like Gi-hun. Unlike the man he lost, Hyun-joon is lively, confident, and endlessly curious—especially when he’s cast in a new drama, Double Investigation, where he must learn how to act again like a real detective. Forced to shadow In-ho for “research,” Hyun-joon’s clumsy enthusiasm and unexpected warmth slowly disrupt In-ho’s quiet, grief-filled life.
As the investigation deepens and emotions blur between past and present, fiction and reality, In-ho finds himself torn between duty and healing, suspicion and affection. In this strange new world, solving the case may be the least complicated part—because learning how to laugh, trust, and love again might be the real mystery.
