Summary
Buck hip checks Eddie. ‘’You good?’’
‘’Yeah. I was just looking forward at quiet Sunday afternoon at the house, not this.’’
‘’Quiet Sunday afternoon?’’ Buck chuckles. ‘’When on Earth do you and Christopher have quiet Sunday afternoons? You usually blast aliens on the TV or play Mario Kart.’’
Eddie pouts. ‘’Hey, that’s quiet.’’
‘’Sure,’’ Buck smirks.
‘’Don’t be smug. Not everyone can be a master chef like you.’’
Buck leaves the knife on the board and turns to Eddie, faking offence. ‘’What? Me, a master chef? If you haven’t noticed I’m scared shitless I won’t recognize when the dish is done because Pepa keeps saying ‘it’s over until it’s over’ and ‘just a cup of flour’ but when I ask which cup she says ‘the blue one’. The blue one is not a measuring unit Eddie. I literally have no idea what I’m doing.’’
Eddie shrugs his shoulders then lifts a piece of carrot he just peeled to Buck’s mouth so he can snack on it. ‘’You’re doing fine. I’m on peeling duty. You’re on seasoning duty.’’

Or: touch starved Eddie Diaz, that’s it. That’s the fic. 5+1 fic, five times Eddie seeks out comfort in Buck no questions asked and one time Theo does it instead. Cute, soft, fluffy ❤️🥹Series

Summary
He laid back down, staring up at the ceiling again. When he couldn’t fall asleep, he usually tried some 4-7-8 counting method that he learned ages ago. It often did the trick in a matter of minutes, 15 at most.
This was not one of those nights.
No matter what he did, how much he tossed and turned, he couldn’t stop his brain from thinking and overanalyzing.
What did they mean by that? ‘Just made sense,’ we don’t do everything together, we’re not—
Eddie shot up mid-thought.
“Oh. Oh god,” he said to no one....

Summary
“Hey, so tell me this is none of my business, but…” Ravi started, from the seat next to Eddie in the back of the car.
“It’s none of your business” Eddie muttered in response; his cheek pressed against the car window.
“But…” Ravi insisted, earning a groan from Eddie.
Ravi persisted, nonetheless.
“Is there… is there something going on with you two? You and Buck, I mean” Ravi asked, tentatively.
“What are you talking about?” Eddie queried, suddenly becoming much more alert.
“I mean… you spent the whole night staring at him, you didn’t seem particularly interested in talking to anyone else, especially any of the women… is there… is there something going on there?” Ravi asked quietly.

Summary
Buck would do anything for Theo, especially adopting him. It wasn't an easy path but Buck was willing. The problem was that Theo had been thorough a lot in a short amount of time and he needed stability in his life right now, which meant two parents and preferably a kid.
That wasn't Bucks strong suit.
But it was Eddie's.Bookmarked by Chipmunk34

Summary
“He—He had a nightmare,” Buck says. Eddie can tell he’s tugging at his hair. “He was asleep for barely an hour, and now he won’t stop crying. The thunder scares him.”
Before Eddie can ever answer, Theo’s cries interrupt him. His voice wails out a sad, “EDDIE!”
Eddie pauses. “Did he just say my name?”
On the other line, Buck’s breath hitches. Eddie pulls the comforter off himself, already springing into action to find his shoes and car keys.
Still, Buck doesn’t reply. Theo’s sobs are even more earsplitting through the phone. “I want EDDIE!”
“He’s—” Buck sucks in a breath. “He’s asking for you.”
OR: Theo can’t sleep because of the storm. Buck calls Eddie and Christopher for their help.
