Summary
Tara Parker, a student at McGill University, gets bitten by a radioactive tarantula and turns into something not quite human anymore.
Juggling a romantic life, a financial crisis, education and a double life, Tara has a lot on her plate. Gwen Stacy, her roommate (and hopefully girlfriend, if she would get the guts to ask her out), can't know about Tara's double life.
Tara isn't the only one who's gone through a horrible transformation and has a secret. Gwen Stacy, former scientist (and lab rat) had her DNA spliced with that of a tarantula hawk wasp without her consent. She grew wings and a tail that she concieves behind layers of clothes—and lies.
