Peter didn't plan any of this. He didn't plan to fall into the arc reactor holding a mysterious, glowing metal ball he grabbed off an alien. He didn't plan to wake up screaming and in pain outside of a strange city. He didn't plan to go to Gotham, New Jersey.
He might not have planned it, but he's here now. Now Peter needs to find a way home with no ID, no money, and seemingly no way to contact Doctor Strange or anyone else back home for help. But perhaps the wheelchair-bound librarian, a dangerous man with probable ties to crime, and a young genius can help him figure out how to get home.
That is if Spider-man can get on the good side of the local Bats.

Summary
Peter Parker, like any 14 year old superhero mutant, really wants to catch a break. And yet somehow, he never gets one. He's just a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, nothing special, so what gives?
Well, that's only if you don't look at his biology ever since the radioactive spider bite. Or his extensive track record of running away from his guardians and that he was homeless for a bit. Or the amount of people in his life that have died because he's some kind of bad luck charm. Or that his foster-dad is Tony Stark now.
Or the fact that he was randomly kidnapped one morning on his way to school, and now he's in an alternate universe with a bunch of strange vigilantes that keep stalking him.
He thinks they mean well, but they're really weird. Besides that Red Hood guy. He's pretty cool. Though something about them- especially Nightwing- is familiar, that's not important. He has enough on his plate right now, considering there are multiple people trying to upend the fabric of time and space. He can figure out the other details later.

He accepted this and had made peace with it, especially if he died protecting his family and the very city he called home. Leo watched the skyline fly past him in dazzling shades of oranges, reds, and yellows; the faint greens of the trees and glittering blues of the river.
He accepted this. There were others worth more than him, after all.

One moment he was wearing a cloaking brooch and out shopping with April, the next Leo's ninpo was crashing into his, whispering a broken goodbye before fading completely.He took out his tracker ran. He ran and ran through the crowds of humans gathering around something on the sidewalk. Something blue and green and lifeless. Something bleeding and broken and staring unseeingly at the sky. Donnie's blood ran cold, grief threatening to suffocate him.
"That's my twin!" He shouted. "That's my twin..."
