Horrid Henry.
Henry believed it was all he would ever be.
His attempt to seek help from strangers had only made his mum livid and had landed in him getting locked up in his room.
He escaped however, and it’s up to his friends (Especially Ralph) and even some people like Moody Margaret to make sure he is safe from the hands of his mean, horrible parents.
Can Henry be saved, or will he be doomed to nothing?

None of this made sense. His parents were being nice to him! He'd almost forgotten what that felt like. It was just a shame it had taken him getting a concussion to get this far - it wasn't like they happened often. But... there were other ways he could get hurt, right? This would stop eventually, when he was completely better, but if he got hurt again they’d be concerned, wouldn’t they?

The weight above him shifts forward suddenly and he feels claws grip his mask on either side of his face, the plush pumpkin head keeps any damage from reaching his skull but the feeling of them pricking the outside of his mask sends shivers down his spine. Before he can react or call out the claws jerk his head up forcing him to make eye contact with his best friend. He feels the shout of surprise die in his throat.
He shrieks.
The corruption digs its claws into Skid and refuses to let go. Pump needs to save him. Has to save him no matter what, with Boyfriend and Girlfriends help he going to beat back the darkness keeping Skid chained up.
