Summary
Once Upon a Time there were three sister Witches who discovered a magic wellspring. From it, they obtained the very essence of existence: Life Powder. A mysterious substance said to have the ability to bring miracles to life. With it, the Sisters created Earthbread and all of its inhabitants; from the great Sugar Swan to the tiniest faerie cookie. They sought to share this power with their fellow Witches, to use it to pave the way to a better future for everyone.
But that was a long time ago.
Now, Life Powder is running out. The remaining Witches fight among themselves for scraps in their greed for power. Cookies who are baked here exist only to be eaten for the Life Powder in their dough. The Cookies baked deep within the Buried Fortress by the Witch Matilda are no exception.
When living in a world where everything is out to get you, adaption becomes a necessity to survive and hope is a distraction. But Hope does not die easily, and maybe wishing on a fallen Star can still create miracles.

Ser Duncan the Tall wakes up in a land he doesn't recognise.
The Erdtree burns gold on the horizon. The call of Grace pulls at his chest like a fishhook. The locals are hostile, the wildlife is worse, and the item descriptions are frankly insulting.
He'll meet a merchant who plays the lute, a maiden with one amber eye, a spirit horse with opinions, a seamster, and a scholar. He'll fight crabs the size of wagons, and demigods.
He is not Anakin Skywalker. Or Azor Ahai. He is not even especially clever. He cannot read most of the item descriptions and understands fewer.
But he gets up. Every time.
