Had to change the title again because one of my lovely commentators pointed out the… not innocent interpretation of the old title…
When Ikaruga shows up to town one day after the scuffle at the Astral Shrine, Fubuki is determined to help him feel welcome, unlike Kaguya, who couldn't care less about the man that senselessly got in her way.
Ikaruga and Fubuki slowly let the other in, completely unaware of what tragedy is just around the bend.
OR
slight canon divergence that starts at the middle of arc 2 where all characters have more important roles and Fubuki and Ikaruga bond, and arc three is "What if Clarice was more dangerous?" with some major canon divergence.
The base plot is (mostly) still there, I just filled in plot holes and am giving everyone a chance to be important.
Also, there are less prominent ships I haven't mentioned in tags.
I'm trying to give all characters a role in this fic, so they should show up sooner or later.
