But fate prepared new plans for him as he been forced to stay within the cult after a mysterious storm. And it could have been a simple stay of a couple days before returning to his solitude but nothing prepared him to such realization; was it really the life he inspired to have? Does dwelling over his past and feed his own misery really was his sole route?

Things work out to start, but one day, the Umbreon drinks something weird outside, leading to some growth and changes... and before long, the whole family starts to change to. Summary
Cartoonish Afterlife is an AU set after the deaths of the Playtime Co. experiments, where they awaken in a surreal, cartoon-like purgatory inspired by their original toy personas. This world is peaceful on the surface, but its true purpose is psychological: it forces them to confront who they were meant to be versus what they became.
Among them is Theodore, once a neglected orphan who grew into a withdrawn, loyal follower of the Prototype (1006), whom he saw as a mentor and savior. Manipulated yet devoted, Theodore committed harmful acts believing in a greater purpose, even as doubt slowly took root.
In the afterlife, former allies and enemies must coexist, creating tension and unresolved conflict. Theodore, trapped in denial, interprets this place as the “promised land” he was promised, clinging to his beliefs to avoid facing guilt and betrayal. The story follows his internal struggle as cracks form in his faith, forcing him to confront the truth about himself, 1006, and the reality of what they all endured.
