Summary
No one ever expects a bloody, battered god to drop out of nowhere into the middle of their workshop, but hey, sometimes these things happen.
Loki has clearly been through hell in the year since his attack on New York. His sudden appearance and unexpected plea for asylum puts Tony in an awkward position. Certain it's all part of a ruse, Tony locks the god up and keeps him under constant watch, but days pass and all he sees is an injured god, tormented by nightmares. Is it possible Loki is being honest? That would certainly make it easier for Tony to deal with his ridiculous, overwhelming attraction toward his unexpected guest...

Summary
When Tony goes to confront Loki, he has a simple plan in mind: get his suit, buy the others more time to get there. Simple. But then he gets his first true, good look at the god and his stomach drops. He knows that expression. He is intimately familiar with it. It is the same one he wore for months after he escaped Afghanistan. More is going on here than anyone knows. Naturally he asks. Even more naturally, he gets involved after he does. After all, who doesn't want to pretend to be a sex slave to defeat the evil overlord?

“I’m not sure.” He tries not to panic, and fails. “Do you know who I am?”
In which Tony has forgotten everything, and the god of mischief has never met Iron Man, because on top of being amnesiac, Tony has been thrown two centuries into the past to fix the future.
