    Summary

"Chiron only trains heroes." He repeats the same words from that day. "It’s not something you choose.”

    "And you are one?"

The question stung. Mydeimos’ jaw tightened. "It was foretold."

“Right. Foretold,” Phainon scoffed, as if it were a minor detail. “Well, no one’s foretold anything about me, so I guess I have to make my own way.”

One trained by fate, the other chasing it. The gods, of course, remain entertained.
Chiron watches them both, and wonders how many ways a heart could break.

Or; Ancient Greece—Mydeimos and Phainon grow up together in the forest, undergoing a decade of training to become heroes.

    Summary

Phainon found himself plagued with both disgust and curiosity after finding out about his best friend’s secret, a BDSM-forward lifestyle. And as any good friend would, Mydei offered to give him a glimpse into what it was like to be not just a submissive, but his submissive.

If Phainon could just be open-minded to new experiences, then Mydei swore he would find it in him to be patient with his ignorant feelings towards it all. But at what point did a test run between friends become the real thing between lovers?

    Summary

“Khaslana, my dearest child, my finest creation.”

The divine voice echoing around him, splitting from one to hundred to a thousand – more distorted and unintelligible with each split.

    “̶…̴y̶o̵u̶…̵d̷e̷s̴t̷r̵o̴y̶ ̷t̵h̵e̵m̸…̸f̴o̸r̵ ̶m̴e̷?̷”̷

Words entering his ears and splintering into countless, repeating ones.

‘If your heart cries not for your brethren up in the skies, but the dusts that cover the earth below, what need do you have for those wings?’

The sunfire tears through his back with its golden-white blaze.

And Phainon falls from the heavens.

Angels hadn't descended upon the lands of Amphoreus for years, though vestiges of their divine guidance persisted.

And all Mydei wanted was to live out his quiet life in his quaint cottage in the woods with his animals. Far away from the angels and their business.

Until one crashed into his backyard.

    Summary

To outsiders, Phainon is the Crown Prince's omega attendant, a courtesan whose only purpose is to fulfill his master's nightly needs. But behind closed doors, he is a caregiver, a manager, and a friend. At the heart of it all is Prince Mydeimos, the man Phainon has dedicated his life to. A man who will not touch him. A man Phainon has long accepted that he could never have.

Phainon's devotion runs deep, but little does he know, so does Mydei's. And confronting it could spark a fire that Phainon had long thought extinguished.

    Summary

“You’ll break your ankle if you do it like that.”

The things that happen in flashes of moments, leading to roads unthought of, is how people can end up in the most unexpected of places — for Phainon turns on his heel abruptly, failing to catch himself in time as he trips over his own boot. Time slows for him as he waits, waits, and waits for his back to hit the ice. There is a poet, whose work he read in the tucked-away corner of the library where cosy chairs and warm mugs of tea steamed between him and his classmates, who once wrote; “the world will end not with a bang, but with a whimper” — and perhaps, this is how Phainon’s world ends.

A young man from Aedes Elysiae. A man who grew wings to touch greatness only to fall back down again. An angel found in the cold, lifeless fluorescence of a skating rink. Phainon; he almost had it all.
