“Yes,” ♫♬♯♩♩♫ says. They and the rest of the human life support thrum know better than to be offended by my occasionally strange behaviour. “Obviously we weren’t going to risk the life of Honoured Grace on a completely untested technology.”
That doesn’t mean much. There’s a lot of things that are safe for ingestion by Eridians that would outright kill a human.
Trust Grace, I remind myself. He’ll have thought of all this.

Summary
Things have been... well, rough. Bendy gets worse each day, operating like a husk of his former self due to the curse he has been afflicted with. Somewhere along their quest to find the Holy Church of Arten, a particularly bad day sparks Bendy to make a selfish request from his friend, Cuphead. A friend he has been particularly close with. Their relationship is unlabled and strange but it's undeniable that they need each other and the warmth they give.

“Please,” Orion tightened his hold, begging, “talk to me.”
The Matrix decides to play cupid, and shove the two in a makeshift closet, which is essentially a dream world of their own.
It would take a whole more than that to make peace together, but it was a start.
