Summary
Techno finds a lost baby avian named Tommy and tries to reunite him with his family. He doesn't expect to actually get attached, especially after discovering Tommy's biological family is very far from good or caring. His new role as a parent will cause him issues due to him being a piglin hybrid instead of an avian, but eventually he might meet someone who can offer some advice. Perhaps, that someone will even become his friend and another member of this odd family.
Basically a series of cute, domestic, everyday events from a life of a new parent, who doesn't feel ready to raise an adopted kid.

TLDR- Dr Ryland Grace has terrible sleeping habits. They have consequences.
I became slightly obsessed with pre mission launch fics especially those with Stratt and Grace and their friendship (If we ignore the whole drugging and kidnapping ). And basically the head cannon that Grace neglects sleep when he’s doing big science and there are consequences. Stratt is not happy.
