Summary
When Hannibal and Will finally made it to Europe after diving off that cliff they intended to lay low and hide in the wizarding world but after a chance meeting in London leads Hannibal to killing the Dursleys for their rudeness, he finds who he believes is their second, unloved, magical son locked away under the stairs. Happy 10th year anniversary! The events of NBC's Hannibal are transposed to the late 70s early 80s. Story picks up after Will and Hannibal make it to Europe.

Gon watched the fire burn. The Winter Ceremony had landed on a Wednesday that year, giving many people a much coveted five-day weekend. He felt no such relief about it but as long as Yeong stood behind him, within an arm’s reach, he would get through it again. And now that he thought about it, the flames were beautiful in the way they slithered around the dry wood and crackled loudly in all the colors of the brightest of sunsets. Another winter had begun.
He turned around and faced the staff. They clapped, as did the crowds of people gathered outside the palace, all having been waiting for the fire to be lit. Bonfires would be burning all across their peninsula that evening and night. Wearing the Consort’s Gwanbok, Yeong had been watching the fire too, the smoke rising above, but he lowered his eyes and met his. The golden details of the robe glimmered in the flickering light emanating from the bright flames. The boy from the harbor adorned in regal glory and wearing it like it had always been his. Gon smiled before he realized what he was doing.

The constant sound of cheers and applauds that had been coming from behind the temple’s wall had shifted so seamlessly that it took a long time for Yeong to register that people were… singing? He heard the melody but wasn’t able to make sense of the lyrics. He almost turned to ask someone, anyone, what it was about because it wasn’t part of the ceremony, but then, at last, the gate was opened again and he found that removing his eyes from it was suddenly impossible. Yeong sat straighter, heart beating very conspicuously but feeling so much lighter than just seconds ago.
