He finds himself transformed into a cat, accompanying the radio demon on a stroll through hell, wondering how he got himself into this situation.
Or: Sometimes all you need to get out of a depression funk is a psycopathic deer and his cannibalistic maybe-partner to force you to confront your greatest fears while indulging your fluffy cat face with scritches.

Though several thousand years out of the social network tends to make someone rather inept at even the most casual of conversations. If there is one thing the Radio Demon is good at, it's manipulating and reading people. Lucifer figured he could probably use that.
