Summary
Inspired by “trust my recipe” by anon cause I love the idea and wanted to make it Stormhedge
Dunk has been Lord Lyonel’s sworn man for years despite being an omega, training his squire in Storm’s End when they aren’t off wandering the countryside. With Egg nearing adulthood and Dunk himself nearing his mid thirties, lonesomeness has made him worrisome.
Fearing a life with no family of his own he seeks out a matchmaker, hopeful someone would be willing to mate such an odd omega.
Lyonel Baratheon is not pleased when he learns the omega knight he’s been pining after for years is seeking the hand of a lesser man.
*Baelor didn’t die in the trial and all is sorta well with the Targaryens. Egg is mostly allowed to stay with Dunk.*

Summary
Dunk, an omega too large and too strong to ever be suspected of being one, was riding for Ashford when he felt his heat coming on. He drank a serum to delay it, enough to last to the end of the tourney — had he not crossed paths with a young unmated alpha who smelled of tar, smoke, and blood: Aerion Targaryen.
During the Trial of Seven, Dunk fought through pain and fever; but when he found himself one-on-one with Aerion, he knew the prince had caught his scent. It distracted the young dragon long enough for Dunk to land the blow that made him yield. The victory tasted bitter and dishonest, though, and there was no way for Dunk to explain himself without bringing worse trouble on his own head. He needs to leave.
And just as he means to, the wind brings him the smell of tar, smoke, and blood.

Summary
Dunk has barely just lost the last of his milk teeth when he presents as an omega. To any other knight, this would have been a problem. A liability even. An omega could not travel the roads, at risk of bandits or worse.
They were soft, simple creatures, who required the protection of their alphas and the comforts of their nests.
Arlan shook his head. Boy might be simple, he thought wryly. But he sure ain't soft.
Wherein Ser Arlan decides to raise Dunk the only way he knows how - like a alpha.
It leads to an… unconventional upbringing.

Summary
Dunk was sure he had a bit of bastard blood in him. There was no other way to explain the scales that creeped up his skin when he wasn’t careful, the way his back itched as though something was waiting to burst out. It would have been easier, perhaps, if those strange gifts had been a stag’s horns. A fish’s gills. The points of pin feathers.
Everyone knows what happens to Targaryen bastards, Rafe told him as the form took over him once - and only once, shivering in that tiny hole they had carved out for themselves. Look at Redgrass.
He tried not to think of Redgrass.
Meanwhile, Aerion Targaryen could care less about Dunk’s supposed bastardy. He’s much more interested in getting Dunk in his nest with a clutch of eggs - immediately.

Summary
Duncan the Tall had been pardoned in the eyes of Gods and men. He had expected to return back to the roads, to leave the violet eyes of Targaryens behind, and to live the rest of his ignoble life in search of coin and service.
Instead, a bloodied and beaten Aerion Targaryen stood in his way and refused to be moved.
“Marry me,” he said, and Duncan could see that the pearly whites of his teeth had turned red. “Marry me, Ser Duncan, or risk insulting a dragon twice.”
Duncan had turned pale with shock then red with rage. It hadn’t mattered in the end because one did not insult a dragon twice.
“If it pleases you, my Prince,” Duncan had said smiling. It was hardly pleasant.
I’m going to make you wish you were dead.
