Summary
After revealing his magic, Merlin promised his king that he would tell him if he was hurt or needed help. The aftermath of an assassination attempt sent him, injured, stumbling into Arthur's chambers to fulfill his promise. Once he did that, he figured he could finish getting ready for the visiting delegation and wrap up his chores. He wasn't sure why Arthur was being so weird about it. He was only lightly shot.

“Everything alright, Harry?” Tom said, walking into the kitchen.
Harry froze where he was bringing the cup of hot tea to his lips, he’d thought Tom would be at work until late. He slowly put the mug back down, gritting his teeth through the twinges of pain moving his arm caused. He could only hope his husband didn’t recognise the faint smell of a pain potion mixed in his tea.

It started, like most things with Harvey, without warning. Mike had been sitting at Harvey’s dining table, trying not to feel like he was out of place among the sleek furniture and floor-to-ceiling view, when Harvey appeared with a plate of something that looked far too good to be eaten on a random Tuesday night. Before Mike could even lift his fork, Harvey cut a bite, speared it, and held it out.
Mike had laughed, thought it was some kind of joke, but Harvey only raised one eyebrow—the eyebrow that usually preceded winning arguments and closing deals—and so Mike leaned forward, lips closing around the bite. And that was that. Harvey fed him the next one, and the next, until Mike realized somewhere along the way he hadn’t even touched his own fork.
