Summary
Arthur sat and stared at the door for a few minutes even after Merlin had left, idly chewing his breakfast, brows furrowed. Something felt off, a vague sense of wrongness, right from when Merlin had come to wake him up.
Arthur finds Merlin acting strangely, Merlin hears a voice in his mind, and memories become a weapon. Will Arthur manage to bring back Merlin or will they both be trapped as Camelot falls?

Smiling at the thought that he'd be able to reach the Cloud Recesses by nightfall, Wei Ying placed Chenqing against his lips, and let the first few notes of his favourite song ring in the air - the song he'd heard Lan Zhan hum for him, but who's name Lan Zhan stubbornly refused to tell him. He had barely been playing for a few minutes when he heard the grass rustling behind him, and a low voice called out.
"Wei Ying."

"Lan Zhan! You'll never guess where i went today!" He announced, stepping out from behind the changing screen, tightening his inner robe as he walked out. A sudden intake of breath, almost a gasp, and a quietly muttered 'Wei Ying' however, was enough for him to look up worriedly.

“Hey, what’s the new tech guy name?” Alec asks Simon.
“Eh, Baine or something,” Simon replies distracted, still typing.
Alec decides to give a shot to a nickname.
“Hey, cute guy with the ear cuff!” He calls.
The guy turns around slowly and Alec is left rooted on the spot. This is the most beautiful man he’s ever seen. Bronze skin, dark, soft looking hair, with a pair of brown eyes and a strong body.
“Cute guy with the ear cuff?” The tech guy asks, making his way over and looking a little stunned but amused, nevertheless.
“I’m sorry, I just didn’t know your name and I needed to catch your attention, I — ”
The guy holds up his finger in front of Alec’s lips, silencing him. A smile takes over without him meaning to, the guy grinning back as well.
“It’s okay, pretty boy. I’ve been called worse. I’m Magnus Bane.” The guy — Magnus — says as he lowers his finger.
“Lightwood. Alec.” He replies, a little entranced by Magnus.
“Well, Alec, what can I do for you?”

“You think you could convince her to come sit with us and then we can stealthily slip away so they fall in love and Clary never complains to me again?” Magnus gets out in a rush.
