    Dazai was seven when the world ended. A child trapped in the apocalypse after a force of pure calamity destroyed a government facility and unleashed hundreds of highly dangerous individuals. Superhumans, now out for vengeance for being kept contained.
    Dazai is 15 now. Everything is destroyed. There's not much left but the remaining humans' will to survive.
    Dazai is 15 when he meets Chuuya. And suddenly he finds out that nothing about the world he's gotten used to is as it seems.
    After a tragic incident, the two boys set out to find the true villains of the story and hold them accountable.
    Government Secrets. Forgotten Memories. Past, Present and Future on the line.
    And while their entire world might be a mess, they're more than ready to face it all together and fix what they've broken when their lives broke them.

    He watches Chuuya fall asleep, slow and soft, in small bits. He is so beautiful, and he is mine. All mine.

    I am the first person he smiled at.

    I am the first person who said his name.

    I am the first person who has held him like this.

    He is mine. He will always be mine now, after these things.

    Dazai thinks, for a moment, that he might not ever get to feel things, or see the world the way most people do, or find a reason to live. But he can live for this, for him. For this boy. He does not care about birds or parks or trees or people, does not feel all that much when he sees the sunrise or sunset or the stars and the moon. He does not like dogs or children. He does not like the world.

    But he likes Chuuya. He likes the way Chuuya looks when he is looking at all these things.

    Now looking at it, Dazai looked... horrible.

    His eyes seemed distant, close to dissociating but not yet there. The skin on his lip was cracked and bleeding, flaking with dry follicles. His cheeks were trailed with a light blush, covering his freckles. His hair was ruffled, more ruffled than it typically is.

    He really needed to get Dazai to his apartment.

    Chuuya took a few deep breaths, with the way the younger is teetering the edge of a nervous break, yelling at him wouldn't be the way to go here.

    "Dazai?" He spoke softly, walking towards the brunette, and crouching on the floor next to him.

    Dazai trembled, nails scratching the top of his hand for some sort of comfort, his eyes had an unexplainable gloss to them—like if he was about to cry.

    Chuuya was really out of his depth here.

    "What's got you acting up, Mackerel?" Chuuya asked softly, tilting his head to the side, being sure to soften his gaze.

    He shook his head, it'd be better to not speak right now, his container infested germs would get all over Chibi.

    Chuuya sighed, "You must really feel like shit, huh?"

    Chuuya suddenly gets a text from Dazai at midnight, in a rushed panic, he goes to Dazai's apartment---only to find him laying slumped on the bathroom wall, bleeding with arms bloody. After a near encounter with death, Chuuya begs Dazai to open up to him, only for this night to seem like it lasts forever.
