Summary
Childe’s experience in the Abyss permanently changed his body. Leaving him with fox-like features and the ability to only digest meat. Anytime he ingests something not entirely meat-based, he’s left with debilitating stomach cramps and excessive vomiting. Yet, when he goes out with Zhongli to eat every other day, he can never seem to tell the handsome consultant no when he orders a variety of dishes. After the events of the Golden House and the bank lobby, Childe and Zhongli eventually work things out and Zhongli discovers a sickening secret that Childe had kept from him.
OR; Childe is completely carnivorous and has kept this secret from Zhongli. He feels bad refusing dishes that Zhongli speaks so highly of, and forces himself to endure the pain just to appease the man.

Summary
Dottore’s clones had the one brain cell for the day and he decided to trick Childe into drinking a potion that would turn him into a fox. Childe reacted in the most normal way possible. By spending days destroying everything in Zapolynary palace, sending innocent agents to the hospital, and evading the other harbingers. In his defense, Dottore was the one who turned him into a fox and he missed his boyfriend so he was already annoyed to begin with. Now everyone else has to deal with his chaos.

Childe assumes it’s normal -expected, even.
There are some questions that are better left unasked. After all, knowledge is a heavy burden and some answers are better left unsaid.
Childe knows that there are certain names even his fellow Harbingers don’t speak lightly, and one of them belongs to Il Capitano.
He never asks why. He never asks anything unnecessary at all. Maybe that's what started all of this in the first place.

For the record, Ajax was not at all opposed to being sent on missions as another Harbinger's backup. As long as he was given things to fight and the rest of the tasks were not excruciatingly boring to get through, Tartaglia would comply without issues.
The actual mission, the actual tasks, the actual experience of being the backup was not the issue here.
The issue was-...He was the only Harbinger being tasked with things like these. The only Harbinger being designated as backup. The only Harbinger being treated like a class below the rest.
(Because Tartaglia was rash and reckless and could not be trusted to keep himself safe.
Tartaglia was to be looked after like an unpredictable rabid animal that only behaved under certain conditions.Tartaglia was off.)

Or, Childe struggles to understand why the Tsaritsa insists on treating him differently from the other Harbingers, and tries to pretend like his affiliations aren't irrevocably shifting towards the mysterious god he meets in Liyue.

2) Sunday is also required to remain under the watchful eye of someone the I.P.C. has deemed fitting, and that person is none other than Aventurine of Stratagems.It should be all fine and good, save for Aventurine's incessant teasing. Except that Sunday has stumbled upon a singular, horrible realization:
Aventurine is - and he's loath to admit such a thing, even to himself - perhaps a teensy bit attractive. Surely, nothing could go wrong.

It hurt his head to think about what he was doing prior to… this, but he was fairly certain he’d gone to bed. Like any normal day. He’d returned from his routine shift at the Fatui headquarters and gone back to his studio apartment to sleep. The first thing his slightly dumbfound mind managed to conjure up was that he’d been isekai’d, but it was thought with a mental laugh and a ‘yeah, sure’ followed right after.
Meaning the only feasible conclusion was that he was still asleep, and this was all a dream.-----------
Or, Ajax wakes up somewhere that looks suspiciously similar to Liyue, from Genshin Impact, the videogame; and resolves to change history.
