Now Dazai has to get along with Chuuya's band of freaks and Chuuya has to get used to the mess Dazai's art and personality is.

Summary
"What do you wanna do after high school?"
The question catches Dazai off guard. Laid atop dewy grass beneath a starry sky untouched by city light, he gives it some thought, scooting closer to the other on the thin blanket beneath them. Chuuya meets him halfway.
"I don't know. Get a job I guess. Move out," Dazai responds almost obligatorily. He shifts enough to place a kiss to Chuuya's temple. "Get married."
Chuuya reaches out and intertwines his fingers with Dazai's, giving his hand three quick squeezes.
"I wanna get outta this fuckin town."
Dazai laughs, bringing his free hand up to gently cup Chuuya's face. Their eyes lock, pupils dilating.
"If that's what you want, we can run away together."or
After CPS drops Dazai off at his uncles doorstep in a small town riddled with gossip, he sinks into a role placed upon him by the legacy of his parents. He pushes everyone away, planning for his imminent demise. Until he meets a boy—someone who might just change everything.

The group manages to be coordinated enough to make it to the lake. They rent four paddle boards, but only three of them get any real use. Akutagawa insists on staying seated beneath the umbrella, safe and sound on the shore.
Despite Akutagawa stating it isn’t any of their business, Atsushi can’t help but take notice of the way Chuuya and Dazai are acting. They bicker, argue, prank, yell, threaten, annoy etc etc, which isn’t anything out of the ordinary. It’s just that… Chuuya seems to be the one instigating most things.
Is that normal?And
“You’re not still mad about the other day, are you?”
“You mean when you stood me up on our anniversary?” Chuuya states coldly, shoving Dazai off of him. “Cause yeah. I am.”
Dazai stands back up, pacing back to his own chair.
“I told you, something came up. Besides, only high schoolers actually celebrate things as ridiculous as six month anniversaries.”Or

“Hit me again,” Dazai huffs out, still fighting to regain a steady breath.
Chuuya doesn’t hesitate.
To say Chuuya hates Dazai wouldn’t be a lie, but it’s far from the truth. He’s the biggest nuisance to ever force his way into Chuuya’s life, but also his favourite form of escape. He could have all the booze and bud in the world and he’d still struggle to reach the same level of intoxication fucking Dazai provides.
Every time his palm connects with the bastard's cheek, it’s part punishment for all the torment, and part gratitude for all the pleasure. He isn’t sure if he’d like hitting Dazai more or less if he wasn’t so obsessed with the violence of being desired.

At age 20, Chuuya's determined to find ambition as a social work student and tattoo apprentice.
