    Summary

    Originally a standalone fic, the first installment has now spawned a trilogy because I've lost control of my life! Part 1 is a season 4 era slow burn; parts 2 and 3 explore AU versions of s5 and s6, respectively, where spuffy are in an established relationship throughout.

    Parts 2 and 3 are planned/mostly written! Other fics in this universe, including missing scenes, bonus content, and possibly an AU s7 (but don't hold me to it) may be to come.

    Crowley is summoned to another dimension, which happens to be Sunnydale? I don’t know either. It was mainly an excuse for me to write about my two favourite disaster demons.

    Here's the deal: Buffy's got no idea how to beat Glory, or how they're gonna book it across the country in a moldy RV without anyone killing each other, especially now that someone broke one of the beds—and the thought of going home again kinda makes her wanna cry.

    The one thing she knows is that Spike would follow her anywhere, even like this.

    ... It's a duck.

    There's just a tiny bit of magic floating around after Willow ends the Will be Done spell, and it turns the resident captive vampire into a duckling. And he's so adorably angry about it. Question is now... who's going to take care of duckling!Spike? Oh, it's Buffy, of course.

    But Spike being a duck doesn't mean everything else goes away. He's got a new perspective, and over time, so does Buffy. Changes to Season 4 grow as time goes on.

    I'm sure someone's written something like this before, but I got the idea and here we are. The plot also started to happen, and now I can't stop it.
