Madoka won, Homura lost. At the end of their battle all Homura could do was run. But as they met one final time the two Goddess' didn't want their story to end. So instead of an end to their story, this is the beginning. As the two Goddess' made one final wish.
“I wish for a world without Magic. A world without Magical Girls and Witches. A world without Incubators and Wraiths. And A World without Wishes and Curses."
And so does the story of Magical Girls end, but the start of two normal teenagers begins.
