Bogo stood there in silence for a long minute until he heard Nick’s voice from behind.
“What’s Moneybags got on his agenda?” the fox asked, and Bogo eventually huffed, “Apparently, the future of the team.”
Another pause, and Nick asked, “So I take it Duke’s out of a seat?”
“Affirmative,” Bogo nodded, and the fox replied, “Good. The guy’s a cancer. Happy trails. Won’t miss him.”
“I just fear that whoever Lionheart found to replace him won’t be an improvement,” Bogo continued, and Nick glanced up at the buffalo with an intrigued look.
“He’s already found a new driver?”
“He seems to think so,” Bogo answered. “Apparently he’s been talking to scouts all year, and he wants us to see whoever they’ve shown him.”
One final moment of silence, and Nick commented, “Well, I guess some lucky bastard’s dream is about to come true, then.”

Hello! Don't be mad, but I may have rewritten the story. While major beats, interactions, and the overall plot are the same. There has been a heavy rework to improve prose, remove aimless plot points, and add new stuff. If you are still interested in this story after all these years, first you have the patience of a saint, next I would recomend rereading chapters 1-8. To ease it over, some of the chapters will have some new art that I drew of the characters. In my absence, I have really been practicing and greatly improving my character designs, so I hope you enjoy that too!Also! Keep in mind that some of the comments may be referring to work before the rewrite.
