Before Holmes met Watson, he met a young pickpocket...
Sherlock Holmes, consulting detective to ... nobody in particular, actually, is struggling to make his mark on the world of criminal investigation. In fact, his career looks doomed to failure before it's even really begun.
Falling behind on his rent payments and forced to rely on his increasingly exasperated brother for handouts, Holmes takes on a seemingly pointless case involving a burglary in which nothing is stolen.
But, when his pocket is picked, Holmes spots a business opportunity that might just help to revitalise his flagging fortunes.
