Summary
Jisung does not trust pirates, and for good reason. So it's safe to say when he gains consciousness tangled in a fishing-net aboard yet another pirate ship, he is not happy. Summary
Jisung is out for recovery when Minho transfers onto his college's team. By some happenstance, they also begin to frequent the same coffee shop.
Coincidental meetings turn to intentional ones until Jisung can't help but admit his feelings for Minho have surpassed friendship.
Their friends immediately jump at the chance to make something happen between them and begin paving paths for them left and right, but ultimately it's up to Jisung and Minho to be brave enough to make their true feelings known.

jisung has been fine for several years now. stray kids are doing well, handling their work and enjoying the breaks in between missions. their most recent mission is just like any other, until it isn't, and jisung seems to be in the middle of it all.

Summary
Jisung finally moves to sit up, facing Minho with the most intense scrutiny he thinks he’s ever been under. Deserved scrutiny, he reminds himself. He just asked Jisung for his best friend’s soul.
“You’ll be nice to him?” Jisung hiccups, holding Minho’s gaze in his, even while the Grim Reaper silently nods.
“He’ll be safe?”
“Always.”
“Will you tell him I love him, and that I’m sorry?”
Minho’s heart threatens to jump in his throat, but he still nods anyway, “of course.”

OR: Jisung is a mortal who has just suffered a terrible loss, refusing to believe it’s all truly over. Minho has been the Grim Reaper for the past 300 years helping troubled souls officially ‘move on,’ but is now facing the end of the time given to him to complete the fated love clause required in his work contract. What happens when Jisung refuses to let the dead stay dead, and Minho has a hard time saying no? Probably a lot of talk about souls and lesser demons. A story of love and loss and friendship, set under the red-tinged sky of the underworld.
