In Vegas, after they’d said everything right up to the edge of I love you, Shane and Ilya came up with a plan. It was long term, with many, many steps. There might be a spreadsheet somewhere that Shane won’t admit to.
But it’s a plan, nonetheless. Over the summer of 2014, they tweak it and add things important to the both of them. There are even many, extensive, contingency plans.

Thanks to Shane's small lie the first time they hooked up, Shane and Ilya are together years earlier. Now, they have to figure out what to do about it.

Summary
Over the summer, Cliff Marlow made the decision to leave the team he won a Cup with, his hometown, and the only place he'd ever known to move to a different country, a terrible team, and basically the middle of nowhere.
And so far, he hasn't regretted it for a single second.
Or: a continuation of i know the sound of your heart showing moments from Cliff and Ilya's first season with the centaurs, a couple of shocking revelations (though they really shouldn't have been), and, of course, Cliff Marlow being the most loyal friend anyone could ask for.

Summary
Refusing to let Ilya ruin his career by signing with Ottawa, Shane chooses to really give their relationship a try and moves to Boston to live with Ilya and become a Raider. What follows is enough public scrutiny and backlash from his team that it has him questioning if he made the right decision. Until moments with Ilya and the Raiders show him exactly why he chose correctly.

Hayden’s eyes flickered to Shane as he sat on the bench, chewing on the edge of his mouth guard.
“Don’t fucking look at him,” Ilya insisted as he bent down for the faceoff.
“Excuse me?” Hayden mumbled, eyes darting back to him.
“You heard me,” he retorted, his tone clipped. “He’s not your teammate anymore; he’s mine. If you think Marlow is a problem to your game, wait until you see what I will do to your team if you hurt anyone on mine again.”
Hayden scoffed, dipping his head as he tried to focus on the game. Something about Ilya’s words still rang through his head though, sounding so definitive that he didn’t want to risk seeing what he was actually referring to when he said that.
The puck dropped again, and Ilya stole it before he could comprehend how quickly it happened.

Summary
In which Ilya is the one who gets hurt during the Boston vs Montreal game in 2017 instead of Shane, and this time their relationship gets revealed out there on the ice. This starts a chain of events that leads to Shane being the one to switch teams first.
All fics could probably be read as stand-alones but do have small connections throughout.
