Summary
Chuuya has been the top detective in his precinct for years. He does undercover jobs a lot, and he has found that those are his favorite jobs. Especially when they’re long-term and he can avoid his “family” for the sake of peace in Yokohama. Today his boss has given him a job; to pose as a newbie in the slowly expanding criminal organization, The Setting Sun. It’s run by a mysterious man whose identity has been carefully kept private. Chuuya’s job is to find out who the boss is. However.. What happens when a cute guy in the organization gets in his way by being a nuisance? What happens when that same cute guy starts flirting, making focusing on the job very difficult? What happens when that same young man begins opening his eyes about the truths he’s been ignoring since the day he was given the dream of becoming a cop?
What happens when that very same young man begins helping Chuuya unlock memories he didn't even know he had lost..?

Therefore, why should he expect anyone by his side whenever he wakes up?

The traveler gets curious, one night, while sitting at the Angel’s Share bar. Watching as Kaeya coaxes information from unsuspecting, drunk fatui members, he asks Diluc how the two of them met.
Diluc ends up telling their entire life story to the person who has saved them time and time again.

“You summoned me here?”
Dazai gave a weak chuckle. “I was trying to fix a spell when my blood got on it. It appears the spell failed and—” he waved a hand in Chuuya’s general direction. “It was supposed to summon a god, but I hadn’t finished my edits…” He forced himself to stop rambling before he gave a sheepish, “Sorry?”
Chuuya ran a hand down his face, one eye closed and the other glaring at him in exasperation. “Can you send me back?”
Dazai nodded. Very reasonable question. “…Not quite.”
Or: Dazai accidentally casts a half-finished god-summoning spell. Believing it to have failed, he continues his attempts out of curiosity but only ever summons one little redhead.

Summary
Dazai comes to Chuuya like a ghost, all hollowed-out eyes and borrowed breath. Chuuya falls apart about it, quietly, the way he always does, and answers the only way he knows how: with hands, warmth, and a body that won’t move away.
(or: dazai shows up bruised and gone behind the eyes. chuuya doesn’t ask who did it. he just holds him.)

Summary
It's not common that Chuuya uses Corruption anymore; with the ADA and Mafia truce, the combined manpower is usually plenty enough to deal with threats that come to Yokohama.
So when he does, It's natural his husband is quick to soothe away Arahabakis rage before it can do any lasting damage.Unless, of course, Dazai can't find his husband who he believes to be in the throes of anger and bloodshed.
