Summary
“Your highness.” Changbin said softly. A plea for Chris to rein in his alpha.
Chris forced himself to unclench his jaw. “Don’t threaten my mate.”
“You stole mine.” Minho hissed. “If you so much as harmed a hair on his head, I will become an agent of vengeance upon your lands in ways you can’t even imagine.”
Chris willed himself to stay calm. Minho’s very being encompassed barely contained wrath. One wrong move and Chris knew the situation would explode. A chill crawled down his spine.
This wasn't posturing.
It wasn't diplomacy.
It wasn't a military commander making threats for leverage.
This was a mated omega whose partner had vanished.

Summary
“Let’s hear my favorite one,” Hyunjin smiles.
“Again? Well, if you insist.” Chan’s voice was quiet, almost conspiratorial. Everyone held their breath. “A scorched valley, the cursed forest of Faeremor hides many dangers. Monsters dwell within. In the black lake, death reflects itself. Ertangil and Anordan can send your soul to hell with a single touch. The sinister spirit, Gilmir, and the siren Lingelir lure wanderers with gentle music. Mellonis devours human hearts to prolong his youth. The chilling laughter of the banshee Morvenel calls forth death itself. The ten-meter living stone, Tallagor, crushes all who dare cross its path. And, of course, the giant wolf Taurhir, whose fur is as sharp as needles, whose infernal horns are wreathed in smoke…”
“Well, the wolf is definitely huge,” Jisung interrupted, unable to hold back his laughter. “And your fur is prickly. But that bit about Tallagor’s height…”
“Hey, that’s rough,” Changbin whined, his tone drawing chuckles from the rest of the group.
Chan sighed, setting the book down and pulling out a set of cards. The atmosphere of storytelling night was, as always, thoroughly disrupted.
