I just started writing because I was curious about how Steve, who seems honestly a little mentally rigid, would handle losing everyone, and then getting one person back, and then doubting the thing he'd based his whole identity on--fighting--because of getting that one person back. So far the answer is that Steve's not doing great.
This is a dark little story and I'm just going there with pretty much everything so if you want something happier after this, my sister is Mrs. Understood on here, and she wrote The PR Department Deserves Better.

Set during S2 E6- Monster
What if, after forcing everyone to leave Lux, instead of seeking out the sniper, Lucifer decides to find a more permanent death. Azrael's blade wiped Uriel out of existence, wouldn't it be fair if he faced the same fate as well?
He's found on the brink of death, and luckily he's able to be saved. But how does everyone react to the Devil's suicide attempt? More importantly, how will Lucifer recover when he refuses to believe he's anything but a monster?
