Longfellow looks like they’re going to throw up, like they wish they could be literally anywhere else on Earth. Maybe not even just Earth. Maybe like they’re considering volunteering to be shot off into space with no return ticket. Grace leans back in his seat so far that he has to keep his tippy toes on the floor so he doesn’t fall backwards. He gives Williams a crooked smile.

I've known my heat would be coming ever since I'd gone for my yearly physical and my physician had refused to refill my suppressants. He'd thrown words around like "overdue" and "heatsick." Nobody seems to care that I've been on suppressants for years and that I've always ridden out my heats on my own.
In order to convince his insurance company to refill his suppressant prescription, Grace has to prove that he's at least trying to handle his heats without them. He hires an alpha from a rent-a-mate service, fully intending to send them away after they arrive. (See look, he tired!) Only, when the alpha arrives, Grace lets him inside, and then lets him do far more.
Or
Grace is an omega in heat, and Rocky's the alpha there to take care of him. They fuck about it.
