Lex Luthor thinks of life as a game of chess. Everyone around him are pieces to be moved, manipulated, controlled. He thinks through every move ten times before he makes it. Every piece's worth is considered carefully, and reevaluated when necessary. Now, Clark Kent, the reporter who keeps managing to interview Superman, might just be the most useful piece on the board.

Meanwhile, Capable finds herself helping to steer the Wasteland's most powerful fortress towards a better system, mourning the loss of her friends and dealing with an incapacitated Furiosa. Slit would very much like everyone to fuck off so he can suffer in peace.
