It’s routine, Crossy wakes up very early ‘cause he likes to do whatever he does, eat that slop he calls breakfast and work out. (You much prefer the pancakes that Horror makes for you.)
Most mornings, you don’t join him ‘cause you wanna sleep in. You’ll usually slink your way to Killer’s room at some point before breakfast for cuddles since he’s made it a habit to sleep until noon.
But Cross gently tugs your shoulder, and he waits so patiently for you to rub your eyes and blink up at him. “Did you want to shower with me?”

You move again, locking your legs on either side of him. Hands ball up the fabric of his shirt, and you’re fidgeting, picking and pulling at the strayed pieces. (Really, he should get a new shirt with all the holes this one has, but you like the ripped sleeves look.) Your feet don’t even touch the ground.
You sit on his back, acting all nervous. He can visualize your pout and pleading eyes, and he silently huffs. He would never drop you.
And he knows not to disappoint you either.
