I watched Men In Black 1 for the first time just a few weeks ago, and immediately wrote this during my second watch days after my first one.
Beatrice deserves the world and I wanted to give her and Edgar/Kerb a somewhat happy ending. I WILL be updating this with more chapters for sure because I came across @spiritbrosonthispartytrain on tumblr and their AMAZING MiB Au where Kerb becomes an agent, so maybe I'll continue the story using that idea. What if the twolegs who had adopted Rusty were just a bit irresponsible, enough to throw out a four moon old Rusty into the cold after their older cat showed how much he hated the young kit. Found by Tigerclaw, almost half buried in snow, the young kit is taken into ThunderClan with a much warmer welcome, gaining new parents and a new sister and brother
But yet destiny will not be stopped, ShadowClan grows stronger every day and while danger seems to be brewing... it may be up to the newly name kit to become the bravest warrior of them all to save his new home

Summary
In this series, Tigerclaw mentors Firepaw, a starving young rogue the clan cats stumble upon in their territory. Firepaw was brave enough to take on a fox, but his diminutive size and quick temper leave a lot to be desired. Believing in a prophecy given to her by Spottedleaf, Bluestar gives Tigerclaw the young tom as an apprentice. But threats arise in the forest as Brokenstar consolidates his power, pushing kits to train and setting his sights on the other clans' territories. Firepaw must learn under his brutal mentor to defend the things he now holds dear, or lose it all, as he has before. [What if Tigerclaw was not evil? What if Rusty was not a kittypet, but a rogue? This is a total rewrite of the first Warriors arc with non-evil Tigerclaw, and a longer threat from Brokenstar and ShadowClan. Many events will obviously be changed, and some characters who survive in the original story will die, while others who died will live.]

Despised by his only surviving kin, and his loyal son increasingly turning to Brokenstar for guidance. Denied by StarClan themselves, never again to feel the sun on his fur. Abandoned by his father, who had turned his back on his Clan for the weak, soft life of a kittypet. All of it would be worth it, if only he could have his revenge. For so long, that has been the goal that kept him going. And he failed.
“Was it worth it?” A lifetime of hatred, of being denied, all for this? Doomed to be a villain in Firestar’s legend? A shameful, looming shadow in the life of his son; as his own father had been in his? Cast off by all, to eventually be forgotten. Was it worth it, truly?
